My name is Shan, founder of Tepe Designs. I am enthusiast of pocketknives and general "everyday carry" gear. This shop is a reflection of my designs and collaborations with other talented designers, makers, and brands from various industries.
My grandfather gave me my first pocketknife at a young age, and my passion for knives as a hobby gradually grew from there. In 2016, I started designing backpacks as EDC tools to improve efficiency during travel, and it was only a matter of time before my designs crossed over into pocketknives. I launched the Hornet at the end of 2018 under my brand and started a partnership with Two Sun Knives to release various design collaborations under their product portfolio.
I am humbled by the support I have received from the community at large. It has given me the opportunity to forge new friendships and receive feedback on my work.
